Dr. Thomas Dickson

Dentist

Dr. Thomas Dickson(3)

Dr. Thomas Dickson was born and raised in Salt Lake, and attend Skyline High and the University of Utah.

Dr. Dickson attended Creighton University School of Dentistry under a partial scholastic scholarship, and was awarded the “Outstanding Community Health Dentist” upon graduation in 1993. He was the student supervisor of the Indian-Chicano Dental Clinic for two years, and used Spanish language skills he learned in Argentina on an LDS mission.

During dental school, he participated in several externships, including a summer in Kansas City, Missouri at a disadvantaged free clinic, and advanced seminars in treatment planning and placement of dental implants with Dr. Timothy McVaney, a pioneer in dental implants.

Dr. Dickson is currently a teaching mentor and faculty member of the WhiteCap Institute, an advanced dental implant and surgery training institute in Park City, Utah. He spends time volunteering in community outreach at the Donated Dental Services, performing complex dental procedures for disadvantaged people.

He is married with four children, enjoys running in team road race events, water sports and home improvement welding projects.

Dr. Katie Garrity

Midvale Dentist Katie Garrity DDS

Dr. Katie Garrity was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Missouri—Columbia where she received her B.S. in Biology while also playing for the Missouri Women's softball team. Dr. Garrity then went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri—Kansas City, also graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Dr. Garrity enjoys all aspects of dentistry, developing relationships with families, and helping them achieve and maintain a healthy dentition. She has a passion for learning and enjoys discovering new techniques and materials to help her patients have the best possible experience. Her goal is to perform excellent dentistry in a gentle and caring way.

Dr. Garrity and her husband love the outdoors and as recent transplants from Missouri have really enjoyed discovering all that Utah has to offer. They hope to visit all five national parks in the state with their 2 young children this year. Dr. Garrity particularly enjoys hiking, biking, and is excited to travel more after her husband finishes his radiology residency in July 2020.

Yvonne Le Bron: front Desk Ins. Problem Solver. She has been with
Creekstone Dental for almost 2 months. She has relocated from
Las Vegas. She worked at Absolute Dental for 12 years. New
owners took over the Co. She was not happy anymore. She loves
being in the dental she has been in the dental field for years. She
married her high school sweetheart. She had 4 children, 3 boys 1
girl and 18 grandkids. She really loves being In Utah. She loves
hiking, going to the gym. She is training to be healthy, to enjoy
her family. She Is Inspired by being among positive people and
challenging situations. She gets her motivation by being
appreciated by her co workers and dentists. She makes pts visit
very pleasant by treating them as if It Is her being seeing at the
Dentist.

  1. Kepulani (Kep) Wimberly dental assistant
    I am to assist the doctors as well as anyone else who needs help. I
    am to make sure that the pat ients are comfortable and well taken
    care of. ( tend to their needs)
  2. I have been assisting for 32 years, 19 of which has been to
    Dr Dickson. I have worked for 3 doctors in those 37 years.
  3. I was hired as a dental assistant in 1981 and had no prior
    dental training. I was trained on the job I received my
    certificate for graphics in 1999 .
  4. I was born in Hawaii on t he Island of Kauai. I moved to Utah in
    1987. I reside in West Val ley City where I live with my
    husband Ernest for 25 years. I have a son. I enjoy going to
    movies, putting j igsaw puzzles together and going for nice
    long drives. I also like to cook.
  5. If you're going to do something do it right or to the least of
    your ability. We all are not perfect.
  6. I love my job. I am just motivated by that. I like seeing
    patients happy after a big procedure. Also just being with our
    patients. For the most part we have great patients.

Steph is a Utah native and grew up in the East Holladay area of Olympus Cove. She attended Skyline High School. Steve attended the University of Utah for 2 years, and then she began working as a dental assistant and has been doing so ever since.

Steph is happily married to the famous Randy Royter who is a well-known Salt Lake City graphic designer. Steph lives in Sandy and has raised three kids who went to Alta High School and also the University of Utah. Now, the best part of her life is spending time with her six grandchildren.

Steph has been at this practice for a very long time as her dad was the previous owner. She can attest to the fact that you will get the best dental work and the best dental experience at Creekstone dental and is excited to meet you or see you again.

Kaylene

Dental Hygienist

Kaylene grow up in Murray Utah. She worked until she was 25 and then decided she wanted to go back to college to become a hygienist. She began her Hygiene career in the Murray area and then she worked for a number of years in Arizona as a hygienist, but she got tired of cactus and rocks and wanted to come back to the mountains.

Kaylene loves the ocean and has been an avid scuba diver. She has one daughter and one granddaughter.

She enjoys being a hygienist because of the interactions she has with patience and the long relationship she's had with many families over the years.

Mary

Dental Hygienist

Mary

Mary Scarbrough, Dental Hygienist. cleans her patient's teeth.
She also teaches them about the different ora l disease, such as
gingivitis or periodontal disease that may be present. She
discusses proper oral hygiene instructions so they may maintain a
healthy condition within their mouths. Mary has been with
Creekstone Dental for nearly 10 years. Prior to that she split her
weeks for nine years in an office in Holladay, where she met Dr
Dickson and an office in Draper before he retired. She feels lucky
to have worked with wonderful offices. Mary graduated from
Brighton high school. She began her college career in Logan at
Utah State University. where she decided she wanted to change
directions. She attended SLCC to finish her pre requested and was
accepted into Weber State University's Dental Hygiene program,
which she absolutely loved. She graduated in 1999 with her
Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene and licensed to
administer Local Anesthesia. Mary lives in South Jordan with her
husband and three kids. She loves her "Family time". Often she
will be found on the roads or the mountains. biking with her
husband kids or friends. She enjoys the challenge that biking is
for her. She loves a good book, and to travel. They escape often
through the year for a little adventure. Mary is a big believer in
being kind and doing something good each day. She has faced
difficult obstacles in her life and she learned that smiling face or
kind words can lift a hurting heart. She and her family do their
best to make this a daily action which they have loved. Mary loves
helping patients feel important and comfortable in her care. She
wants to make a difference in their mouths every visit. She enjoys
learning about each of her patients. They all have such wonderful
life stories and experience that she learns from. Patients have so
much to offer and she loves her time with them

Kelcie

Kelcie grew up in Indiana. She moved to Utah to go to Utah Valley University and then she transferred to Fortis College to finish up her Hygiene Degree. She loves seeing patients regularly and helping them to have a healthy smile.

Kelcie is married and will be a first time parent in 2018. She loves camping especially at Moab and the St George area. She also loves to rock climb especially in Rock Canyon and Little Cottonwood Canyon and when she can't get to a canyon she goes to Momentum climbing gyms. Kelcie also loves to go whitewater rafting on the Green River.

She loves Creekstone Dental so much that she drives up from Provo to Midvale everyday just for the privilege of working here. Kelcie lives by the moto “Put a smile on your face because you matter!”

Emily

Dental Hygienist

Emily grew up in Salt Lake City in the Holladay area and went to Olympus High School. She left Salt Lake to go to college in St George at Dixie College where she graduated in the Hygiene program.

Emily has been at Creekstone Dental for 6 years. Emily loves working as a hygienist and especially loves hearing different patients stories.
Emily has two children and by the time you are reading this may have a third who is currently on the way. Emily lives in a cabin and has to snowmobile in and out in the winter.
